- PICK OF THE MONTH, The Broken Land
By Eyad Islam (4-A),
60 million years ago, there was a dinosaur called Rino. He was clever, and he could fix anything. He could recycle any item and could also talk in different languages.
Well, for these special qualities, he was called Rexi-fixi. When all the dinosaurs knew that he could fix anything, the problem began. Rino couldn’t control his anger because of the many dinosaurs who came to him. But, on the other hand, he made awesome things. One time, he reshaped a rock to become a bridge across the river. Well, his anger made him stump extremely hard on the ground which almost caused an earthquake. “What have you done!?” a dinosaur reflected. “It’s because of you, idiot!’’ Rino said.
- PICK OF THE MONTH: TRAVELOGUE, Paddington Station
By Yousuf Khot (9-B),
As you step your foot at any busy railway station, you witness a sea of people haphazardly rushing from one platform to another. You always find absolute commotion and noise.
From the entrance itself, Paddington Station looks massive and huge. Some tourists with heavy backpacks patiently wait for their trains to arrive. While others are at the cafeteria grabbing a light meal before a long journey. A few office men and women dapperly dressed briskly rushed on platform to be on time for work. Next to the iron statue of Paddington, two little kids frolic around while their parents click their pictures. Tired looking after a long journey, a mother and son probably were eagerly waiting for their relative to pick them up.
- POINTS TO POINDER, The Wolf’s Crescent
By Manal Saleem (11-E),
As I walk upon the Earth
Moon glistening in my wake
Around the deep blue lake
Place of the white wolf’s birth
- POINTS TO PONDER, My Family
By Hala Jameel Addas (4-J),
I have 4 brothers big and small some are short and some are tall. My sister's baby is small and fat, he looks adorable when he wears his hat.
My mother cleans and cooks the food and tell us to behave and stop being rude. Our car is cute, her name is cupcake if she ran in the road she would be pancake.
Our garden has alot of trees. With butterflies and buzzing bees. Our house is loud and full of noise. What do you expect with alot of boys? Family means alot.

- Senior Experience
By Hadeel Osama M Oun (12-E),
It’s about time!
My high school years are coming to an end. Although some people might think that graduating from high school is a tiny chapter in the big book called ‘life’, to me it’s a pretty immense milestone. When I think about the new chapter I am so close to reaching in my life, I get a knot in the pit of my stomach. I come across a lot of different emotions, some of which are fear, sprinkles of nervousness, with a side of excitement and expectation.
- SPOTTED AND REPORTED Implementation Day
By Upper Primary School,
The students of Grades 1 and 3 have recently explored some science topics through one of the most creative and fun means.
With each grade assigned a surprise topic, they were given material such as play dough, colored papers, glitter and colored pencils. They were then informed of the topic on the spot by their form tutors and were given almost the entire day to work on their projects.
- SPOTTED AND REPORTED, Fun, Run and More!
By Lower Primary School,
January 2019 marked the Lower Primary School’s “Fun, Run and More” activity where all children participated in an enthusiastic morning race. This activity was a great opportunity to introduce our students to the joys and benefits of physical fitness and team spirit. All the Lower Primary School family which included both the children and the staff displayed fantastic energy throughout the 3-day event. It was a super way to have fun and stay fit and healthy.
