University Visit to TIS - Thamer International Schools

By Manal Saleem and Suha Mirza (11-E)

As seniors and juniors, students have a large responsibility in mapping out their future; this is primarily focused upon by choosing fitting universities that will boost them to full potential.

To help them with this never-ending process, the school organizes multiple university visits from around the globe. One such visit occurred recently due to a collaboration with the British Council, bringing forth guests from all over the UK.

In anticipation, the student body rushed to the auditorium to be oriented with the ten universities that flew in. Other visits that arose were of a university from Switzerland as well as several from Lebanon. These institutions bring a wide variety of options from diverse cultures and make it easier for the students’ selection process.
