Dear Parents,

A resource-rich digital platform, MyMaths (Grades 1-5), MyiMaths (Grades 6-12) for Mathematics and Kerboodle (Grades 4-12) for French, will be made available and accessible to our beloved students.

A valid username and password will be given to the concerned students and a soft copy will be available on the schools' portal. This platform will give all students the opportunity to practice at home.

Students of Thamer International School have received prestigious awards from Cambridge International Examinations to acknowledge their outstanding performance in the May/June, 2016, Cambridge examination series.

His Royal Highness Prince Faisal Bin Thamer Bin Abdulaziz, the chairperson of Thamer International School, appreciates the efforts of the Academic Director, the faculty and the students. His Highness also extends his heartiest congratulations to them all.

Due to the predicted weather forecast, please be informed that L. P. S. trips to " Babel Land ", Alsalaam Mall, that were scheduled from 30th October to 1st November, will be postponed. New dates will be sent to you as soon as the trips are rescheduled in sha'a ALLAH.

Matilda Wormwood is a young girl who is extraordinarily brilliant. At a young age, she started solving complex math problems mentally and read books meant for adults. Unfortunately though, Matilda grew up with parents who did not give her the attention and love she deserves. Mr. and Mrs. Wormwood and their son, Michael, are quite different from Matilda - preferring to watch television rather than read books. They do not understand her and so often treat her badly.

Rather than feel hopeless, Matilda plays tricks on her family to get back at them for the way they treat her: replacing her father’s hair tonic with platinum hair dye and using a parrot to convince them that their house is haunted. These tricks give Matilda some relief and distract her parents from mistreating her.
