My grandmother’s name is Zarina. She is 64 years old and stays in our native place, Mumbai, in India. My grandmother studied in Kuwait as a kid and was a good swimmer during her school days. She is the eldest among her two brothers and two sisters. She got married at the age of 19 in India and had three children. She took care of her children independently as my grandfather was out of India for work.
She was also helping and supporting all of her other family members. At the age of 62, she performed Hajj, but now she continues to stay back home. My grandmother is a very good cook and we enjoy her traditional Kokni dishes.
I have a big mole on my forehead, just like my grandmother does. Her hobbies are cooking, socializing, and stitching. She loves her family more than anything in the world. I miss my grandmother.
